Updating to the latest Java version

1. Uninstall all installed versions of Java.
   1. If you're unsure how, see this Oracle article. Repeat these steps for every installed version of Java (you can search for 'java' to find them all (see here)).
2. Restart your computer so the un-installation process can finish.
3. Download and install the latest Java version (here). Select 'Windows Offline', the one without '64-bit' in the label
4. Restart your computer to update your environment variables.

For Mac, this java is required.
